Position Summary:

The Product Support Specialist will be a critical member of our operations team, responsible for in-person and remote clinical equipment maintenance, troubleshooting and overall product and supply inventory management. The role requires someone with a “go-getter” attitude, attention to detail, and flexibility to respond quickly to equipment issues as they arise in the field. This role will also collect feedback on clinical equipment and workflow from front-line hygienists, in order to inform clinical product and process improvement initiatives across the organization. This role will require travel to client sites in the field. 


Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain expertise on all dental hygienist equipment and supplies used for patient care
  • Serve as primary contact for dental hygienists related to equipment and technical issues that are reported via telephone, email and internal communication platform Slack
  • Provide accurate analysis, troubleshooting, and testing of equipment and technical issues; utilize ticket system to log and report issues as they arise
  • Ensure the highest level of communication by providing regular updates with respect to progress of each incident, and quickly providing timely solutions in a professional manner
  • Oversee product and supply inventory, including monthly inventory tracking and data inputs into inventory management system AirTable
  • Transport and deliver supplies as needed to the hygienist team in the field; identify and implement supply delivery solution if needed as client base grows across market
  • Schedule and perform routine periodic maintenance checks on clinical equipment at office locations in accordance with company procedures and standards
  • Provide technical support for product upgrades and other special service programs to support patient care ensure consistent roll-out across markets
  • Communicate to Product team about kit issues and suggestions from hygienists, as they arise
  • Provide kit training overview to all new hygienists as they come onboard, and other new hires as appropriate
  • All other duties as assigned
