As our first full-cycle Talent Acquisition Specialist you are responsible for the initial outreach, screening of candidates, scheduling and conducting phone and in-person interviews, building close relationships with our hiring managers and interview teams while building a pipeline and relationships with our candidates on a national level.  And as needed, you will also have the opportunity to work on HR and Culture related initiatives.



  • Talent Acquisition
    • Partner closely with hiring team and senior leadership to develop creative sourcing and recruiting strategies
    • Work closely with hiring managers to write and update job descriptions
    • Source, engage and recruit candidates via various platforms
    • Conduct detailed candidate phone interviews to identify skill sets and competencies
    • Manage candidate selection and progression
    • Build and maintain talent (active and passive) pipelines while continually developing and maintaining professional relationships with our candidates and hiring team members
    • Communicate effectively with hiring managers and stakeholders on the status of open positions
    • Work with hiring managers to negotiate candidate offers
    • Maintain documentation on candidates, searches, hiring manager interactions and other recruiting activities
    • Process new hire paperwork and onboarding new hire efforts
    • Proactively build and develop talent communities by maintaining an active online presence on LinkedIn and other Social Media platforms
    • Participate in career fairs, employer branding events, and company social events
  • HR
    • Lead integration efforts of creating a diverse culture
    • Primary point of contact for office equipment, building maintenance
    • Maintain organizations insurance policies
    • Organize and manage all onboarding processes (background checks, set-up of new hire work area, etc)
    • Organize and manage new hire orientation, completing all required documentation
    • Explain, provide & implementation of employee benefits and programs
    • Management of new personnel 90 day reviews and annual personnel reviews
    • Maintain employee records and paperwork (electronic & hard copy)
    • Track Employee Personal Time Off (PTO) & maintain updates for next calendar year
    • Coordinate and manage Annual Compliance Training
    • Maintain and update employee handbook annually under the guidance & direction of management
    • Answer employee questions and address employee concerns
    • Perform off boarding and completing termination process


  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • 6-10 years of relevant recruiting experience
  • Highly collaborative team player
  • Strong talent sourcing skills including advanced Boolean strings and LinkedIn Recruiter experience
  • Ability to influence, negotiate and translate company value
  • Experience leveraging technology and in-person events to build and develop talent networks
  • Proven record of fostering strong candidate relationships and hiring manager engagement
  • Confident, energetic, and effective with the ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced, start-up environment
  • Strong oral and written communication skills with an increased focus on proactive touch points with hiring managers
