With our corporate HQ in Boston, Virtudent is changing the face of dental healthcare delivery. Our mission is to bring high quality oral healthcare to all. We aim to make a traditionally headache-inducing dental experience vastly more cool, convenient, transparent and most importantly – all about the patient!  By coupling our state-of-the-art pop-up dental clinics with telehealth technologies, we bring the dental visit right on-site to employers.

The Vice President, Finance position will become the go-to for all things finance.  The role requires a unique combination of operational discipline and forward-looking leadership. You will be responsible for our accounting, FP&A, and other finance related activities.  You will work closely with the CEO and COO of the company.

While we have 100+ leading companies including several Fortune 100 companies (e.g. Microsoft, Fidelity, Dunkin, Hubspot, Wayfair, athenahealth), we’ll look to you to help us make the appropriate expansion decisions to scale efficiency.  Successful candidates will possess accounting experience and FP&A experience, which will allow them to balance micro-detail of the operational finance activities with the macro-detail of planning activities.


  • FP&A
    • Prepares company budget (1, 3 and 5 year model) with rolling actuals and forecast
    • Guides financial decisions by establishing, monitoring, and enforcing policies and procedures
    • Prepares financial modeling, analysis, cash impacts, as required to inform business decisions
    • Identifies opportunities for efficiency across functions
    • Drive analysis of trends and key business drivers affecting the business
    • Actively monitors and manages bank balances, cash flow, and debt instruments
  • Accounting
    • Produces monthly financials and manages relationship with outside bookkeeper & CPA
    • Manages and maintains all contracts pertaining to the company, employees and customers
    • Deliver seamless, cohesive analyses and reporting to senior leaders across the company
    • Protects assets by establishing, monitoring, and enforcing internal controls
  • Other
    • Complies with federal, state, and local legal requirements by studying existing and new legislation; enforcing adherence to requirements; filing financial reports; advising on needed actions
    • Advise on insurance, risk management and partner with general counsel on legal matters
    • Administers company payroll
    • Support the Executive Team with any ad-hoc tasks or projects



  • Accounting degree / training from a top-tier institution
  • 6-10 years of work experience in a high-growth environment
  • Experience raising or supporting venture capital financing preferred
  • Data-driven decision mentality and sound business judgment through strong analytical thinking
  • Entrepreneurial DNA
